I did download and attempt to use the Fing app. Page you can then change the transmit settings. Scan your network and the IP address will show up, which you can then use to enter into your browser on your iPhone to connect to the Solution to the original post: If you want to find the IP address of your iPhone network go to the app store and download the iNet app, the free version works just fine. Re-start not only the router and openspot but also the iPhone !!! Moral of the story and solution to the secondary problem in this case: I was able to change modes from DMR to D-Star via my iPhone, test transmissions were successfully completed on both the DMR and D-Star networks. I then opened the safari browser, entered the IP address and it connected to the The iNet app was opened, the network scan button depressed and BINGO! 2 IP addresses show up, one ip address was listed next to the TP-Link router label! On re-powering the iPhone and turning the the hotspot network on, the iPhone and the TP-Link modem connected and the openspot status light went solid green, it was no longer blinking red, immediately the DMR radio connect onto the BM network.Ī test transmit was completed and the system was back to normal and working. I decided to shut down and restart my iPhone. Previously, the openspot worked perfectly with the hotspot network on the iPhone and my home ethernet connection. Openspot would not work on the hotspot network but it worked fine on my home internet connection. I could plug the openspot into my ethernet cable at home, the status light would immediately turn green and the system would connect. Openspot STILL would not connect into the hotspot network, even though the TP-Link router green light was solid green. Then a separate problem popped up, the openspot dropped off the iPhone hotspot (status light was blinking red)! All the settings on the router were checked (it is in client mode, I saw no way to put the router into bridge mode, correct me if I am overlooking something), modem, openspot were powered down, hotspot on iPhone was turned off and on. What should I do? The Pro is my main computer and it's super annoying! I'm a law student, printing is essential! (Side rant: It's not like Apple makes printers, I don't know why this happens with third party hardware every time Apple updates its OS.I installed the free version of iNet app on the iPhone and scanned the network.NOTHING, IP address would not show up. Interestingly, I also have a Macbook Air running Big Sur 11.2.3 and a slightly older driver (Epson 10.62) and it works fine.for now, as does AirPrinting from my iPhone or iPad. Reconnected the printer to the network, that's all working fine Tried using a generic driver and Gutenprint Tried to add the printer using its IP address instead of Bonjour Reinstalled the latest drivers (Epson 10.85 - which now crashes before installation is complete - I have the error log if that helps anyone) Removing and attempting to re-add the printer in System Preferences (I get an "Unable to verify printer on the network due to an error" message, and if I continue anyway, I get "Unable to communicate with printer at this time") Restarting Mac, router and printer including in safe mode I have been through every trouble shooting step there is to add it back: Suddenly, my Epson ET-2750 printer disappeared. Recently I upgraded to Big Sur 11.5.2 on my 2019 Macbook Pro. Can't print to Epson ET-2750 on Big Sur 11.5.2 I am going insane over this.
